'Cats run wild at WYCO cross country meet
Washington's Lawrence, Central's Sullivan pace the field

The Wildcats led the way when cross country runners from Bishop Ward, Harmon, Schlagle, Washington, and Wyandotte high schools raced Thursday at Wyandotte County Park, joined by KCMO’s Central High School.
In the girls’ race, 2023 state qualifiers K’Lynn Lawrence and Paulina Mercado Amado placed first and second, followed by teammates Adrianne Gray and Charlotte Reno to sweep the top four spots.
Central’s Ravell Sullivan won the boys’ race, followed by three Wildcats: Jordan Pointelin, Gabriel Marin, and Steven Regular Nichols.
