Chiefs' Reid & Smith bring charity softball back to KCK
Legends Field hosts the action on Thursday evening

The Kansas City Charity Softball game, hosted by Chiefs’ players Justin Reid and Trey Smith, will return to Legends Field in Kansas City, Kansas on Thursday, Jun. 6.
Last year’s inaugural edition, hosted by former Chiefs’ wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, saw a constellation of more than 40 hometown football stars take the field. Patrick Mahomes II wowed the crowd by winning the home run derby and then crushing two more during the game.
When Valdes-Scantling was released by the Chiefs in February, Reid and Smith stepped forward as hosts. A list of participating players for this year has not yet been announced. Tickets are still available at https://tickets.maxfunlive.com/events/28390-2024-mvs-charity-softball-game.
That is a good place for good people to good things.
